TRAININGHelping Sexual Assault Survivors Heal: Strategies for Counseling Adolescent Survivors
Please Note: Training is 9am – 4:30pm. Breakfast starts at 8:15am, Registration at 8:30am. Lunch is included and 6 CEUs will be provided.
Training will include clinical techniques for working with adolescent sexual assault survivors and methods for helping adolescent survivors develop healthy sexuality post-assault.
Training is for Sexual Assault Service Provider (SASP) therapists and Community Mental Health Center Sexual Assault Coordinators as first priority. Others may register and will be notified after June 9 if there is space available to attend the training.
To be eligible for hotel and/or mileage reimbursement, Therapists and Sexual Assault Coordinators must live more than 80 miles from Albuquerque. Participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations by June 9, 2017 to receive the discount rate (hotel & room block info on confirmation page after registering). One mileage reimbursement per agency site will be approved, reimbursement forms will be provided at the training.
Training is FREE. Breakfast & Lunch provided. CEUs for Therapists will be offered.
