NMCSAP provides ongoing technical assistance and the development and implementation of training, policies, core standards and best practices to the state’s rape crisis centers’ staff and mental health centers’ based sexual assault coordinators. Support and expert consultation include the following issues:

  • Organizational development
  • Laws and legislation
  • Confidentiality
  • Mandated reporting
  • Best practices in service provision
  • Case consultation
  • Locating resources
  • Sex offender management
