The strategic plan identifies several populations that are at higher risk of victimization in New Mexico. Prevention efforts with these priority populations will be most successful when lead by people from within the priority populations, and supported by partnerships with state and community prevention efforts.
Fact sheets for each of these populations are available below. These fact sheets have been designed to be used as standalone documents to educate policy-makers, health councils, providers, decision-makers and other partners at the state and local levels about the problem of sexual violence and ways to address it within each population.
